PhoneParser

idMatch™ PhoneParser Component has been designed and developed by the idMatch Systems, Inc to provide an efficient and complete solution to phone parsing.

PhoneParser takes any unformatted alphanumeric data string and returns parsed components of the phone number present in the original input string. This highly customizable and flexible set of API is part of the idMatch™ Solution that idMatch Systems has developed. The customization can be done based on custom rules defined in the reference library as well as amended by user. These rules are definable externally.

 
Parsing is done by cleaning and resolving the input data string to precisely determine the following:

•International direct dialing code
•Country code
•National dialing code
•Area code
•Subscriber number
•Area code exchange
•Extension
•Phone type [work, residence]•Multiple lines
•T9 number translation
